Once you've entered the main page of Messenger Tigo WEB , click on New User. A form will appear in which you'll be able to enter all the information needed to create your Messenger Tigo account. After filling in the registration form and submitting it, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided. Click on the link you'll receive in the e-mail to complete the activation process of your Messenger Tigo account. The username you chose when you created your account will be the one that the cell phone users will see on their screens when you send them messages using Messenger Tigo.
Note: If you don't click on the link in the confirmation e-mail, your account will not be activated and you will not be able to log on to Messenger Tigo.
How to add a Tigo cell phone to your contact list:
Click on the 'Add or Search contact' icon and choose the option 'Add contact'.
Enter the cell phone number of the person with whom you want to chat.
Then, enter the username you want to associate to that cell phone number. This way you'll recognize it better in your contact list.
The cell phone you've added to your list will receive a message which needs to be replied in order to authorize you to send messages to its user.
How to start a chat with a cell phone:
Open the message window by double-clicking on the cell phone contact with whom you want to chat.
Write your message and click 'ENTER'.
You’ll have to wait for a while until the cellphone replies (remember that typing a message on a cellphone takes more time than typing a message on the computer).
You have a certain amount of free messages you can send per day. This amount decreases with every message you send to Tigo cellphones and increases with every reply you receive from Tigo cellphones. To know how many free messages you still have, click ‘Users’ on the menu bar and choose ‘Check free messages’.
